Dear Carol, Words cannot express how much we miss you. We thought about you today which would have been your birthday. It would be so easy to get carried away with the anger of the unfairness, that a person as beautiful as you has been taken away from this world. The loss off you, still seems unbearable and the injustice takes away my breath. But, Carol, you were such an amazing and unique person, who radiated everything that is good. I know that you would not want your legacy to be bitterness and anger. So, we remember the joy you brought us every time we were together, the kindness you felt for the people around you and the love for the people in your life. So, amongst the grief and the tears we feel over your loss, which will last for a long time, we reserve a place in our hearts to remember your joy for life, your spirit of adventure, your devotion to your husband and family. We also take comfort in knowing that you are in a wonderful place full of love and light, and that one day we will be united.
