The first time I met you mum, was at Canterbury, we had talked on the phone because of Ray's operation, but I remember being so nervous about meeting you.
we arrived at the camp-site, and a glass of wine was put in my hand, then followed introductions, and funny stories about Ray, stories of your travels, and of family and friends, never before have I ever felt so at ease or welcomed, I immediately felt like part of the family.
That followed many more years of happy times, happy memories, times that you have supported us, stood by us, been our voice of reason, and many many glasses of wine.
You had a energy about you that instantly drew people to you, the instant a person met you, they loved you, felt inspired by you.
You inspired more people than you thought, you were very humble when people said you were amazing.
I feel truly blessed and thankful for having you in my life, I'm thankful for everyday that I am a part of your family, so for that I thank you.
That said, we miss you, every hour, knowing you are no longer on this earth with us is a fact that is simply too hard to accept, I shall miss you, your smile, your infectious personality, and of course that laugh, more so after a few glasses of wine, no one I know laughs like you! and I smile at the memory of that.
Sleep tight mum, god only takes the best, so that makes you awesome.
